Heat Dissipation Mode

The ZXR10 6800-4E uses forced air for heat dissipation. It can automatically adjust the fan speed depending on the device operation status. The fan status monitoring and failure alarm function are supported. Cool air is taken in from one side of the chassis, goes through the boards and power supply modules inside the chassis, and is blown out from the other side of the chassis.

Power Supplies

The ZXR10 ASR series routers support an AC power supply (100 V to 240 V) and a DC power supply (-72 V to -38 V). The ZXR10 6800-4E supports dual power supplies in 1+1 redundancy mode and mixed installation of AC and DC power supplies. A power supply module provides the following functions:

• Input/output overvoltage/undervoltage alarm and protection
• Output overcurrent alarm and protection
• Temperature alarm and overtemperature protection
