In this article, I’d like to discuss with you about ZTE ZXA10 C650 and Huawei MA5800-X7, how to choose?
ZTE ZXA10 C650
The ZXA10 C650 uses a 19-inch shelf of 6U high.
The ZXA10 C650 can be installed in a 19-inch B6030-22C-IB standard cabinet or a third party’s 19-inch cabinet that meets IEC standard specifications.

MA5800-X7 service subrack provides 12 slots, 2 for control boards, 2 for power boards, 1 for the universal interface board, and 7 for service boards.

Comparation:
1, ZTE C650 and Huawei MA5800-X7, both belong to different brands of products of the same specification.
12 slots, 2 for control boards, 2 for power boards, 1 for the universal interface board, and 7 for service boards.
19inch, with 6U height.
2, Both models are equipped with GPON, XG-PON, and XGS-PON service boards that they support.
3, ZTE GPON/10GPON solution is almost half cheaper than Huawei GPON/10GPON solution.
Huawei GPHF GPON board with C++ price is about 2000$; Huawei CGHF GPON and XG-PON combo board with D/C++ module price is about 2800$; In contrast, ZTE GPON board and XG-PON board are half cheaper than Huawei’s. For customers who care more about price, I think ZTE is the better choice at the moment.
