TNG1M520S overview

TNG1M520S 2 x 100Gbit/s Service Multiplexing Into 1 x 200G or 2 x 100G Programable Wavelength Conversion Board applied to Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 M05/M12/M24.

The new generation of “M” series subracks have the characteristics of ultra-large capacity, optoelectronic integration, and compact size. They are suitable for comprehensive carrying application scenarios such as broadband video, mobile backhaul, government and enterprise dedicated lines, and DCI interconnection, providing end-to-end optimal transmission solutions from backbone, aggregation to access. The M24 subrack supports two cross-connection modes, 1:1 and 1:3, which differ in the number of cross-connection board configurations, the number of available service board slots, cross-connection capacity, and application scenarios.

When 100GE, 50GE, 40GE, 25GE, 10GE and GE services with a LC module are received on the client side, client 1+1 protection supports unidirectional switching and the bidirectional switching.

Optical-layer ASON	Supported NOTE: Optical-layer ASON is not supported when the TX1/RX1 port works in line mode.
L1 service encryption	Supported NOTE: When working in ODU1 convergence mode or the OTU4 service is accessed, the board does not support encryption. The client-side ports do not support broadcast cross-connection and encryption function at the same time. After the encryption function is configured, the WDM-side rate of the board cannot be switched, but the modulation formats of the same rate can be switched.
Digital optical label	When LS Ability is enabled, the board supports loading low-frequency pilot-tone modulation signals and overheads during wavelength conversion, and can work the optical-layer board that supports the digital optical label function to detect optical power and overheads and report optical performance data.
ALS	Supports the ALS function on the client side when client services are non-OTN services. NOTE: The port equipped with an electrical module does not support ALS.
LLDP	Supported NOTE: The LLDP function is supported when the client-side service is Ethernet. LLDP is not supported when 10GE WAN, GE, or FE services are received on the client side. When the service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the Receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted
Physical clock	Supports synchronous Ethernet transparent transmission instead of synchronous Ethernet processing when receiving 100GE(GMP)/50GE (BMP)/40GE (TTT+GMP)/25GE (BMP)/10GE LAN(BMP)/GE (TTT+GMP) services on the client side. High-precision clock synchronization	Supported NOTE: This function is not supported when the board uses the QSFP28,1310,100GE,-3.1dBm,4dBm,-4.5dBm,LC,SMF,2km,PAM4 module. The high-precision clock synchronization function can be implemented only after the corresponding license is obtained. The board must work with the subrack and system control board that support high-precision clock to support the high-precision clock synchronization function. For details, see Clock Synchronization Feature Guide. Supported only when the client-side service type is 100GE(GFP-F)/50GE(GFP-F)/25GE(GFP-F)/10GE LAN(GFP-F)/GE(GFP-T).

PRBS	Supports the PRBS function on the WDM side. The PRBS function in the client-side optical port direction is supported only when the service type is STM-1, OC–3, STM-4, OC-12, STM-16, OC-48, OTU1, STM-64, OC-192, OTU2, OTU2e or OTU4. PRBS signals can be sent from the client-side optical port to the system side. NOTE: The client-side PRBS function is not supported when the board accesses 4 x 10GE signals. Latency measurement	Supports PM and TCM latency measurement for upstream higher-order ODU channels. Supports PM and TCM latency measurement for upstream lower-order ODU channels when non-OTN services are received on the client side. L1 service encryption	Supported NOTE: When working in ODU1 convergence mode or the OTU4 service is accessed, the board does not support encryption. The client-side ports do not support broadcast cross-connection and encryption function at the same time. After the encryption function is configured, the WDM-side rate of the board cannot be switched, but the modulation formats of the same rate can be switched.
Digital optical label	When LS Ability is enabled, the board supports loading low-frequency pilot-tone modulation signals and overheads during wavelength conversion, and can work the optical-layer board that supports the digital optical label function to detect optical power and overheads and report optical performance data.

When the service mapping mode is MAC transparent mapping, the LLDP mode of the port is the Receive mode by default. In this case, LLDP packets are not transparently transmitted

The high-precision clock synchronization function can be implemented only after the corresponding license is obtained. The board must work with the subrack and system control board that support high-precision clock to support the high-precision clock synchronization function.
