S1GF24A overview
The S1GF24A card provides 24-gigabit optical interfaces for gigabit wire-speed access. The S1GF24A card is applicable to all the ZXR10 8900E series switches and can support the wire-speed MPLS access through a GE interface.
The S1GF24A card provides the following functions:
• Data switching with a large capacity
The S1GF24A card provides 24 gigabit SFP optical interfaces and supports MPLS full wire-speed transmission.

• Gigabit out-of-band communication
This function is used for communication between the S1GF24A card and the CPU of the card, and between the S1GF24A card and the main control card, for example, downloading the CPU initialization information.

• EPLD online upgrade
