Huawei MA5800-X7 OLT upgrade error message: The file to be loaded is too long.

 

Processing process
1. Upgrade path: The current version R019C11SPH233===》needs to be upgraded to R021C11SPC202. After querying the data, it is prompted that the transition version, R19C11SPH236, needs to be upgraded first;

2. After upgrading to R19C11SPH236, the error “The file to be loaded is too long” continues to be reported;

3. After collecting data, it is found that the OLT space is insufficient, and the query space is only more than 300M;

4. There are many ont files in the log. Use the file delete * command to delete the ont file of the main control, then switch the main and standby, and then execute the file delete * command to delete the ont file, and continue to load the software package successfully (Note: the file delete * command will not affect other files).

Insufficient OLT space causes the upgrade prompt “The file to be loaded is too long”

 

Solution
Use the file delete * command to delete the ont file of the active master control, then switch the active and standby control, and then execute the file delete * command to delete the ont file, and then continue to load the software package successfully.
