Huawei VS. ZTE VS. Nokia OLT

Huawei, ZTE, and Nokia are the world’s three largest network equipment manufacturers. They all have similar product lines in network communication equipment. Especially their OLT and ONT are widely used worldwide. When we are choosing equipment, what brand should we choose? What are the similarities and differences between them before?

1. Huawei, ZTE and Nokia OLT series introduction

 
Huawei OLT is mainly MA5600T series and MA5800 series, MA5800 series is next generation OLT series. MA5600T series have MA5683T, MA5680T, and MA5800 series have MA5800-X2, MA5800-X7, MA5800-X15 and MA5800-X17.

ZTE OLT is mainly C300 series and C600 series, C600 series is next generation OLT series. ZTE and Huawei have very similar product structures. ZTE C300 series have
C300, C320, C350, and C600 series have C600, C650, C680.

For Nokia OLT, the 7360 series is mainstream GPON OLT platform now, which is a product of the same period as the Huawei 5800 series, so the specifications are higher than that of the Huawei 5600T and ZTE C300 series.

3. Comparison

 
Although the product structure between ZTE, Huawei and Nokia is similar, there are still some differences between them. Let’s take a look.

1. ZTE C320 is equivalent to Huawei 5608T, but MA5608T has two main control boards, one power supply slot, unlike Huawei, the C320 has only twomain control and power supply slots(The main control board and DC power interface are integrated), the main control board of C320 comes with one DC power interface.
