Restrictions and remarks |
1. Even-numbered interfaces (interfaces 0/0, 0/2, 0/4, 0/6, 1/0, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/6) can work in 4x10GE breakout, 40GE, 50GE, or 100GE mode. Odd-numbered interfaces (interfaces 0/1, 0/3, 0/5, 0/7, 1/1, 1/3, 1/5, and 1/7) can work only in 50GE mode. 2. If an even-numbered interface works in 4x10GE breakout, 40GE, or 100GE mode, the following odd-numbered 50GE interface cannot work. For example: If interface 0 works in 4x10GE breakout, 40GE, or 100GE mode, interface 1 cannot work. If interface 0 works in 50GE mode, interface 1 can work in 50GE mode. Interfaces 2 and 3, interfaces 4 and 5, and interfaces 6 and 7 comply with the same restrictions. 3. The four 10GE interfaces split from the same QSFP+ interface must all work in the same mode, either WAN or LAN mode. Mixed use of 10GE WAN and 10GE LAN modes is not allowed. 10GE WAN interfaces support only the master clock mode. The default transmission rate of an interface on the board is 50 Gbit/s. When the transmission rate of the used optical module does not match the default interface rate, for example, when a 40G optical module is used, run the port split command on the board interface to implement the interface breakout function. 4. 100G FlexE bonding is not supported. 5. When interfaces work in 100GE, 50GE, 40GE, or 10GE mode, use optical modules with the matching rates. |
