Restrictions and remarks | All interfaces on the 32x25GE board support the 25GE mode. If some interfaces need to be used as 10GE or GE interfaces, the following requirements must be met:
1. Interfaces 0/0 and 0/1, 0/6–0/9, 0/14–0/15, 1/0–1/1, 1/6–1/9, and 1/14–1/15 work in 25GE, 10GE LAN, 10GE WAN, or GE mode. 2. Interfaces 0/2–0/5, interfaces 0/10–0/13, interfaces 1/2–1/5, and interfaces 1/10–1/13 each form an interface group. Each interface group has four interfaces, which can work in 25GE/10GE or 10GE/GE mode. An interface group works in 25GE/10GE mode by default. The working mode can be switched to 10GE/GE using a command. After an interface group is switched from the 25GE/10GE mode to the 10GE/GE mode, the 10GE interfaces must all work in the same mode, either LAN or WAN mode. Mixed use of 10GE LAN and 10GE WAN modes is not allowed. 3. 10GE WAN interfaces support only the master clock mode. 4. Use SFP28 optical modules for 25GE interfaces, SFP+ optical modules for 10GE interfaces, and SFP optical modules for GE interfaces. |
