TNF2ELOM Enhanced 8 x Multi-rate Ports Wavelength Conversion Board applied to OptiX OSN 1800.

The OptiX OSN 1800 series products include the OptiX OSN 1800 V Pro, OptiX OSN 1800 V, OptiX OSN 1800 II TP, OptiX OSN 1800 II Enhanced, and OptiX OSN 1800 I Enhanced. This series integrates WDM and OTN features, enabling operators to achieve unified transmission of various services such as broadband, private lines, and mobile at the metro edge. Through advanced technologies such as full-service fast access, OTN/SDH/packet unified switching, and optical-layer automatic tuning, the series supports network flattening, effectively reducing network construction and operation costs. It offers the optimal solution for multi-scenario, multi-service integrated transmission.

NOTE:
When Service Type is set to 10GE LAN and Port Mapping is set to Bit Transparent Mapping, the WDM-side port automatically switches to the OTU2e mode. If the FC1200 services (Bit Transparent Mapping) received on the client side: The service signals are encapsulated as OTU2e signals and mapped to the line rate. The rate is 11.3 Gbit/s.   • STM-64/OC-192/STM-16/OC-48/10GE WAN service: Supports asynchronous AMP mode.
NOTE:
Only the F2ELOM(STND) board supports encapsulation of STM-64/OC-192/STM-16/OC-48/10GE WAN services in asynchronous AMP mode.You are advised to use FE electrical modules to transmit FE electrical services.
WDM specification Supports the DWDM and CWDM specifications.
Tunable wavelength Supports the optical tunable transponder. Equipped with this module, the board can tune the optical signal output on the WDM side within the range of 80 wavelengths in C-band with the channel spacing of 50 GHz.
FEC coding WDM side: Supports FEC and AFEC-2 coding.
Line modulation format Supports NRZ.
OTN overhead
  • At the ODU0/ODU1/ODUflex/ODU2 layer: Supports PM and TCM overhead processing.
  • At the OTU1/OTU2 layer: Supports SM overhead processing.
NOTE:
Only F2ELOM(STND) provide PM for ODUflex.Only F2ELOM(STND) supports TCM functions for ODU2/ODUflex/ODU1/ODU0.
LPT Supports the LPT function on client-side when the client-side service is GE/FE/10GE LAN.
NOTE:
  • The LPT function is supported when the FE electrical port of the ELOM board is interconnected to the FE electrical port on the client equipment.
  • If a switch or router is configured with protection, it is recommended that the LPT protocol be used for FE services.
Intra-board 1+1 protection Supported
NOTE:
The board does not support extended intra-board 1+1 protection.
Client 1+1 protection Supported
NOTE:
When FC/FE services are received on the client side, inter-NE client 1+1 protection (the working and protection channels are not on the same NE) is not supported.
ODUk SNCP Supported
NOTE:
  • Supported only by F2ELOM(STND).
  • In the automatic consecutive timeslot mode, only ODU0 SNCP is supported.
  • If ODUk SNCP protection is configured for pass-through ODUflex services in ADM mode, bidirectional switching is not supported.
 
Optical-layer ASON Supported
NOTE:
Only supported when the TNZ6UXCMS/TNZ5UXCMS/TNZ8XCH/TNZ3UXCL/TNZ2UXCL board is used.
L1 service encryption Not supported
Overtemperature protection Supported. If the temperature of a board exceeds the upper threshold and services are affected, the board will automatically reset the key chips to prevent a board damage.
NOTE:
Only supported when the 1800 II TP is used.

ALS can be configured only on client-side optical ports that do not receive OTN services.

Physical clock In 1 x AP8 general mode, the TX1/RX1 to TX8/RX8 ports have the following features:
  • When receiving GE services on the client side:
    • Synchronous Ethernet transparent transmission is supported when the port service mapping path is TTT-GMP.
    • Synchronous Ethernet processing is supported when the port service mapping path is GFP-T.
In 1 x AP1 ODU2 mode, the TX1/RX1 port has the following features:
  • When receiving 10GE LAN services on the client side:
    • Synchronous Ethernet transparent transmission is supported when the port service mapping path is bit mapping (11.1G).

Only the F2ELOM(STND) board whose delivery version is TNF2ELOMC VER.B is supported.When GE(GFP-T) services are received, the optical ports 3(TX1/RX1) to 9(TX7/RX7) on the logical board F2ELOM(STND) support IEEE 1588v2 and a maximum of seven channels of IEEE 1588v2.When 10GE LAN MAC (10.7G) services are received, only the optical port 3(TX1/RX1) on the F2ELOM(STND) board supports IEEE 1588v2.
ITU-T G.8275.1 Supported
NOTE:
  • Support and restrictions are consistent with IEEE 1588v2.
  • The destination MAC address cannot be set to the non-forwardable address (01-80-C2-00-00-0E). Otherwise, the PTP clock cannot be traced, and the downstream PTP clock may be affected, resulting in PTP clock tracing abnormalities.
ITU-T G.8273.2 Supported

The restrictions are the same as those of IEEE 1588v2.

NOTE:
If the access service type is 10GE LAN and the bit transparent mapping mode (11.1 G) is used, a PRBS test is not supported. When GE (TTT-GMP) services are received on the client side, PRBS is not supported. Bidirectional PRBS is supported when 10GE LAN (MAC transparent mapping mode used) and GE (GFP-T) services are received on the client side. When other services are received on the client side, only downstream PRBS is supported.
Latency measurement
  • The WDM side: Supports delay measurement at the ODUk (k = 0, 1, 2, flex) PM, TCM layer.
  • The client side: When non-OTN services are received, supports delay measurement at the ODUk (k = 0, 1, 2, flex) PM layer; when OTN services are received, supports delay measurement at the ODUk (k = 0, 1, 2, flex) TCM layer.
